The local art and tattoo community is coming together to support Joshua Ray Farmer, a well-known tattoo artist and community advocate, who was critically injured in a severe motorcycle accident over the weekend. Joshua Ray Farmer is from Portland Oregon and lives in Fresno, California.
Farmer, who owns High Sierra Tattoo Co., is currently hospitalized in critical condition, with multiple lifesaving surgeries ahead. His family has traveled from Oregon and central California to be by his side as he fights for recovery.
Joshua Farmer has long been a pillar of the Clovis and Fresno tattoo scene, using his platform to support others. Over the years, he has organized memorial motorcycle rides to honor fallen friends and hosted tattoo charity events to aid local families facing hardships. Now, it is the community’s turn to support him.
A campaign titled “Help Joshua Ray Farmer Recover” has been launched on GiveSendGo by Rashel Rene, with a goal of $75,000. The funds will go toward uncovered medical bills, support for High Sierra Tattoo Co. in Farmer’s absence, and to help his family cover travel and temporary living expenses while they stay by his side in Clovis.
Kara Shearer, a Clovis resident, wrote on social media:
